Inspired by the industrial red brick architecture of Liverpool, I've created a modular typeface for the Liverpool Biennial Foundation for Modern Art. Liverpool Biennial emphasise on aligning with contemporary and modern styles of art which is reflected in the decorative style of the font. This is juxtaposed by the historically old red brick buildings of Liverpool which I've embodied in the colour and bold, clunky style of type. When using this typeface it's designed to catch attention and be seen from afar as promotional content and theme for the 2024 foundation.
