This project is inspired by Women’s netball communities in London and the effects/impacts they have on the lives of the participants and those connected to them. I wanted to show the love, mental health benefits, friendship circles, livelihoods, and joy sport brings to lives and what girls love most about how they participate.
A conversation with my mum’s friend about her local London netball club gave inspiration and helped plot how I would best represent the positive impact her involvement in sport has had on her life and other women alike.
